What is the WiLine SD-WAN Portal?

"The WiLine SD-WAN Portal is an online platform that allows users to monitor and manage their network services, circuits, and sites. The portal provides insights into service performance, circuit status, and site management, helping you maintain optimal network operations."

How do I navigate the SD-WAN Portal's dashboard?

"The dashboard provides a summary of your services, circuits, and sites. Use the sidebar to access detailed views of each category, and click on individual items to see more information. What's important to mention is that you have to select a service on the main page before viewing its data."

How can I order WiLine's business internet?

"Ordering is easy, and you could have our service in a matter of days. You can call us at 1-888-494-5463 or you can complete this form. If your property is On-Net, we usually can install our service within 3 to 5 business days. For Off-Net properties, a building survey may be required. This is a free service and requires no obligation to contract WiLine Services. Normally, even for Off-Net buildings, WiLine can deliver service within 30 days from contract signature."

What is an On-Net Property?

"An On-Net property is a location that is already connected to our network infrastructure, allowing for quicker service installation."

What is an Off-Net Property?

"An Off-Net property is a location that is not currently connected to our network infrastructure, which may require additional time for a building survey and installation."

What is symmetrical bandwidth?

"Symmetrical bandwidth means that the upload and download speeds are the same."

What is the maximum speed you offer?

"We offer speeds up to 10 Gbps."

What are circuits in the context of SD-WAN?

"Circuits refer to the physical or virtual paths through which data flows in your network. Monitoring circuits helps ensure that your network is operating efficiently and that data is being transmitted reliably."

How do I monitor the performance of my links?

"In the SD-WAN Portal, go to Network > Links to view real-time performance metrics such as average throughput, latency, and packet loss. You can also learn to set up alerts for any performance thresholds critical to your operations by visiting the Alerts & Notifications page."

Do you support IPv6?

"Yes, we support IPv6."

Can I use a WiLine connection as backup to my current system?

"Yes, you can use a WiLine connection as a backup to your current system."

What is internet route diversity for business continuity?

"Internet route diversity involves using multiple internet connections from different providers to ensure continuous service in case one connection fails."

What does DIA mean?

"DIA stands for Dedicated Internet Access, which provides a dedicated, high-performance internet connection."

Does WiLine provide short-term contracts for events?

How do I update my account information?

"Click on your profile in the top right corner, select 'My Account', and update your personal information, email, or contact preferences."

How do I submit a support ticket?

"To submit a support ticket, please visit our Customer Support section and fill out the form that appears after clicking contact us with the details of your issue. Our support team will get back to you as soon as possible."

How do I contact WiLine support?

My data connection is down. What do I do?

"If you suspect your data connection is down, please check for any WiLine outage reports in your area by other users by visiting Downdetector. If there are no outages, try rebooting your modem and router. If the issue persists, please submit a support ticket."

My internet speed is very slow. What can I do?

"Slow internet speeds can be caused by various factors. Try restarting your modem and router, check your connection on different devices, and ensure that no other devices are using too much bandwidth. If the issue persists, contact support for further assistance."

Will the location of my internet router impact the quality of my connection?

"Yes, the location of your router can affect the quality of your connection. For optimal performance, place the router in a central location, away from walls and obstructions, and avoid placing it near large metal objects or electronics that may cause interference."
